The Bright Old Oak’s dewdrops: Words of a Leaf on an Autumn Day

Flickering on the marvellous tree
All alone in the wind
People walking down below
And it smiles as they come along

Here I come, here I come
Companions of long gone summer days
They lay on the ground
And it smiles watching their ways

Oh what a joy, oh what a bliss
That all my shades have turned like this
But there’s no time to stand up here
Here I come, so let it be

Great lesson of life you can get from the words (and heart) of an autumn leaf!

      It’s true, isn’t it? It’s a never-ending cycle!

        Indeed!
Could we accept that/those cycle(s) so honourably!
